Neurodiversity training options:
We collaborate with clients who recognise the value of diverse brains and once they do, aim to retain them. But let's not stop there.
Let's promote cognitive diversity, harness its power and create future workplaces that are safe, sustainable, and brimming with potential.
Our workplace training reduces staff sickness, improves staff retention and creates a positive culture.
Line managers are at the heart of providing support to neurodivergent staff in the workplace. We help managers recognise, understand, and get the best out of their staff.
Line managers play a vital role in retaining neurodivergent staff. They will often report to us how under-prepared they feel in managing their teams of different thinkers and how to get the best from them.
In our focus groups, to build our Line Manager training package, we heard how they felt ill-equipped to manage the intersect of mental ill health and neurodivergence or what was ‘reasonable’.
A line manager has the best opportunity to implement support and help an individual thrive. This is one of our most popular courses for a reason; we provide resources that can be implemented within the workplace the next day.
Often the first line for advice, HR are seen as the experts for all matters ‘Human’. The reality is that for many of our HR clients, the conversation around Neurodiversity can be confusing, contradictory, and costly.
Our HR training is one of our flagship courses, and we are extremely proud of its origins, having been built by HR professionals, peer-reviewed by practitioners, and assessed for impact. Our resident Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Cheryl Winter, has taught ILM courses for decades, and our HR specialist consultants take pride in the close relationships we have with HR professionals in the industry.
Occupational Health Professionals play a vital role in supporting and retaining neurodivergent staff. They often report to us how challenging they find the number, variety, and complexity of cases when dealing with management referrals for neurodivergent employees.
In our workshops for Occupational Health Professionals, we heard how they didn’t feel they had the knowledge or confidence to manage the intersect of mental ill health and neurodivergence or what was ‘reasonable’.
Training is so much more than ‘awareness’. As any good trainer will tell you, providing learning has its own psychology, and in order to be effective, it has to have a continual developmental process.
Creating your own pool of neurodiversity trainers not only saves you money and time but also invests in creating a sustainable core of expertise at the heart of your business.
Our training courses take trainer skills to the next level where we can understand how diverse minds interact within training. When we do this, we can understand how different minds process information.
We equip organisations with the knowledge of how Neurodiversity intersects with their vital work in the community.
Our training will enable staff to perform their role better and ultimately achieve positive outcomes with their cases.
Partner Agencies are in a pivotal role that can have the most impact on those they come in to contact with.
Neurodivergent individuals often face unique challenges that intersect with other aspects of their identity, such as race, gender, and sexual orientation.
This intersectionality can intensify the discrimination and marginalisation they face, as societal biases may overlap and interact.
We help you bridge the communication gap so that you can build meaningful relationships.
Parents and Carers face unique challenges with children that they care for, getting it right for those children helps them remain on a positive pathway.
We can enable more positive interactions between parents, carers and services by improving understanding.
Very often we will see mental health conditions before neurodivergent conditions are discovered.
We can help you recognise the link with Neurodiversity early so that you can take appropriate steps to support someone.
