Caroline Turner is the Founder and Managing Director of Creased Puddle Ltd, a leading UK-based consultancy specialising in neurodiversity within the workplace and criminal justice systems.
With over 21 years’ experience as a Police Officer, Caroline developed a strong foundation in investigative practice, leadership, and inclusion. Prior to leaving policing, in 2017, she established the first neurodiversity support group within British policing.
Since founding Creased Puddle in 2018, Caroline has led its growth into a recognised centre of expertise in neurodiversity across the UK and internationally. She has worked with a wide range of organisations including Oxford University, the NHS, the College of Policing, the National Crime Agency, and global organisations such as RWE and Rolls Royce, delivering evidence-based training, consultancy, and workplace assessments.
Caroline is a fully qualified trainer and highly regarded professional speaker, known for delivering engaging, practical and evidence-based sessions to diverse audiences across policing, healthcare, higher education, and corporate sectors.
She is a highly experienced Workplace Needs Assessor and a specialist in neurodiversity within criminal justice contexts, with particular expertise in interviewing and communication, supporting fair and effective engagement with neurodivergent suspects, victims and witnesses.
Caroline has also played a key role in advancing professional standards in the sector, leading the development of the UK’s first fully needs led, Neurodiversity Workplace Assessment Qualification, and contributing to strategic discussions across criminal justice, health, and academia.
Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Caroline brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She is passionate about creating inclusive environments where individuals can thrive, and leads a diverse team whose lived experience strengthens Creased Puddle’s impact and credibility as a Disability Confident Employer.
